The Merilba Estate cellar door is also a perfect place to hold a special event or function.  Why not speak to Kassy about your wedding, birthday party or special family gathering.

We do everything we can to make your event special and unique.  Menu’s can be tailored to suit your taste and budget.  We can do casual canapés and drinks, buffet meals and sit down dinners to your specific requirements.  Our venue is able to seat 100 guests and for standing functions we can accommodate 180 guests.

The Merilba Estate cellar door is also a perfect place to hold corporate functions or retreats.  It is exclusive and quiet and the atmosphere is conducive to increasing the productive input of your team.  Lunch or dinner arrangements are easily made and can be done with little interruption to the flow of your event.  Contact Kassy to discuss menu options and any additional requirements such as AV equipment.  The cellar door is available anytime for function bookings.

Dukkah Chicken Kofte with flatbread and minty yoghurt
Little kofte of minced chicken, preserved lemon & dukkah – pan fried and served with flatbread and minted yoghurt.
Scallops with Apple, Cos and Curry Vinaigrette
A tasty combination of sweet scallops served with crisp leaves and crunchy apple lightly dressed in curry infused vinaigrette.
Buffalo curd Tart with Tomato and Olives
A crisp tart filled with rich creamy garlic infused curd. Topped with ripe tomato and chopped olives & served with peppery rocket.



Roast Pear, Blue Cheese and Walnut Salad
A sensational salad of oven baked pears, rich blue cheese and walnuts.  Full of the lively flavours of honey, pepper and thyme.
Chermoula Barramundi with Cous Cous
Chermoula marinated fillets of wild caught Barra gently poached on a bed of sweet onions, capsicum and tomato, served with plump middle east flavoured Israeli cous cous.
Chilli Duck Salad
Full of Thai flavour – chilli, lime, peanut and fried shallot. Rich duck breast painted with chilli jam and panfried, served over a crisp asian style salad.
Marinated Lamb Loin with Vegetables and Feta
Herby lamb backstrap served sliced over a collection of earthy roast vegetables, tossed in zesty lemon dressing, finished with creamy feta cheese.



Chocolate Raspberry Tart
A lovely rich chocolate and hazelnut base carries a sweet creamy filling and is topped with luscious fresh raspberries.
Coconut and Marmalade Cake
A deliciously rich semolina and almond meal cake, drenched in syrup & served simply with fresh creamy yoghurt.
Ginger and Star Anise Creme Brulee
Spicy rich custard, chilled and topped with a crunchy golden toffee crust.
